Poem by Shivank (Shashwat)
I'm living in the present, but still,
I'm stuck between past and future.
However, everybody should dare to will,
Otherwise, your dreams will kill.
We all are busy planning and all,
But your present is trying to call.
Some people are smiling, some are sad,
And we all should forget the past and the bad.
Do whatever to live this day in madness,
Because your days are becoming less.
Don’t know which second is the last,
Don’t know which day is the last.
And at the end of this all,
We have nothing to celebrate.
Then why are we quarrelling?
We don’t know what’s the end.
The end...
Yes, I’m talking about life.
The day which is gone is our past,
But it’s stuck in our hearts with memories that last.
And we are living and creating memories,
Whether good or bad, they still please.
I'm a myopic and alone but planning about the future,
Sad about the past 'cause it never comes — it's life’s nature.
And one day it all gets snatched from you,
The very thing for which you're working hard.
I’m not saying not to work hard, but
In the race of success, we forget that—
How to live life, how to be happy,
How to live without these electronic devices.
